Hey Nerds! Whassup? I’m Jazzi & I’m going to tell you why I don’t like Warframe, even though I continue to play it. It’s not mechanics or gameplay, it’s something even simpler than that.
One Warframe, Two Warframes, Three Warframes, Four
Alright, here we go. I like games that let you have more than one character to play, two maybe three. Four isn’t bad. But Warframe gives you over forty one frames (you have to work for them or buy them w/ plat or rl cash), and that’s not counting the primes + the new ones they bring out one to two times a year. Then you have nine sentinels, and four sentinel primes. Let’s not forget the pets which include various breeds of Kubrows and Kavats.
I like having choices, but OMG that’s an awful lot of to choose from. I have my favorites – Frost Prime, Octavia, and Wukong Prime. I occasionally play on Valkyrie, but that’s cause she has that awesome warcry.
Having 41+ warframes is outrageous. I’m not sure why we need that many frames bc there’s no way to use them all in game play. I understand that they have different abilities made for different things needed in certain missions or whatever…but isn’t that what mods are for? Well that’s how I use the mods and I’m guessing it’s how others use them.
I may not like Warframe’s 41+ frame options but I still play bc, dammit, I do like Warframe. I have a love/hate relationship going on with it. I want to stop playing Warframe but I just can’t bring myself to delete it off of my console. It taunts me like no other game. I swear I hear Frost calling to me while I’m playing something else.
Warframe is a game that draws you in and makes you want to get those other frames…by any means necessary, even if you don’t use them. Ask me how I know? Seriously? I have 22 frames and only use 3 or 4 of them. Digital Extremes does this to torture me, and they do such a good job that I’m enjoying it.
I’m done whining now. You are free of me…until next time.
